We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect (.NET) to join our remote team and contribute to designing and implementing technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of software architecture, advanced technical skills, and a commitment to building scalable and reliable systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success while maintaining high-quality standards and optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Define architecture solutions utilizing .NET technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical strategies
- Lead technical design discussions to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring compliance with architectural principles
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality, consistency, and industry standards
- Integrate emerging technologies and systems into existing environments effectively
- Assess system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement optimizations
- Develop technical strategies aligned with organizational objectives to guide project execution
- Remain informed about emerging tools, technologies, and industry developments
- Ensure systems meet security and data protection requirements
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on .NET architecture and solutions
- At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams of five or more in technical or managerial positions
- Previous participation in two full project lifecycles or varied project phases across different development stages
- Expertise in system and solution architecture design
- A strong ability to lead teams and provide clear technical direction
- Solid background in software engineering with a focus on .NET technologies
- Proficiency in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and accurate project estimates
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
- Extensive hands-on experience with ASP.NET (including MVC), WCF, and WPF/Prism frameworks
- Knowledge of middleware solutions such as RabbitMQ, Tibco, or IBM MQ
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration
- Significant experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring code quality
- The ability to independently develop and thoroughly test features based on defined test cases
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS
- Certifications in architectural frameworks, including TOGAF, EACOE, or equivalent methodologies
- Understanding of Agile development concepts and methodologies
- Capability to lead technical workshops or deliver training sessions
