We're in search of an accomplished, driven Solution Architect with a background in Java Full Stack development to build secure, scalable, high-performing technical solutions. This person will play a pivotal part in defining our technology roadmap, partnering across international teams, and championing innovation that supports broader company objectives. We need a leader who performs well under a fast-paced tempo and is truly excited about delivering state-of-the-art fintech solutions
Responsibilities
- Construct software solutions that emphasize security, scalability, and reliability while addressing business objectives
- Set and drive forward technology strategy for one or multiple products, working in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
- Team up with senior technical and product executives to influence and bring high-impact designs to life
- Collaborate tightly with globally distributed Solution Architecture and Engineering functions to shape standards and guiding practices
- Connect with wider architecture and technical groups to maintain consistency with organization-wide direction
- Formulate and weigh different technical approaches by drawing on both proven and cutting-edge technology
- Advance software rollout by contributing specialized expertise in microservices architecture tailored to fintech
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering technical strength and continual growth
- Partner directly with product owners and operational staff to enable frictionless software releases
- Encourage agile practices and build a culture rooted in teamwork and collaboration
- Roll up your sleeves to build prototypes and resolve intricate technical issues firsthand
- Stand behind technical quality benchmarks and solutions built with longevity in mind
Requirements
- Over 14 years working in product engineering, with emphasis on crafting solutions built to scale
- Strong base in fundamental Computer Science principles, web application creation, and microservices structuring
- History of developing financial platforms designed for heavy transaction loads, worldwide reach, and consistently high uptime
- Proficient in web-related technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and front-end tools like React and Angular
- Capable back-end developer using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Exposure to database systems like PostgreSQL or SQL Server suited for large-scale projects
- Experience applying cloud-native solutions such as PCF, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS
- At ease functioning in Agile frameworks built around collaboration and incremental delivery
- Skilled at mentoring engineering teams and promoting a mindset geared toward constant technical improvement
- Open to rolling up sleeves for prototype building aimed at resolving business-related issues
- Capable of conveying ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical groups
Nice to have
- Solid experience with Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, React, and Angular
- Working knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
- Background with API tooling and design conventions applicable to large-scale environments
- Familiarity with cloud and DevOps architecture, especially involving Azure or AWS
- Proficient with database technology such as PostgreSQL or a range of NoSQL options
