We are looking for a Solution Architect – Java Full Stack (Azure) to shape secure, scalable, high-performance fintech platforms across global teams. You will define technical direction, guide architecture choices, and enable delivery using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, and modern web stacks like React and Angular. Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions that match business requirements
- Define and execute the technology strategy for one or more products with stakeholder input
- Partner with senior technical and product leaders to shape and deliver impactful designs
- Collaborate with global Solution Architecture & Engineering teams to set principles and best practices
- Engage with broader technical and architecture groups to align with organizational strategies
- Create and assess solution alternatives using current and emerging technologies
- Drive implementation using microservices-based architecture for fintech applications
- Coach and mentor development teams to strengthen technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Work with product owners and operations to ensure smooth software delivery
- Champion agile development principles and build a collaborative team culture
- Build prototypes and troubleshoot complex technical challenges with a hands-on approach
- Advocate for technical quality and sustainable, future-proof solutions
Requirements
- Extensive product engineering experience designing scalable software solutions, ideally 5+ years in architecture ownership
- Strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals, web applications & services, and microservices architecture
- Background designing high-transaction-volume financial systems with global scalability and extreme uptime expectations
- Hands-on knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and front-end frameworks including React and Angular
- Proven expertise in back-end development using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Solid experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server for large-scale implementations
- Practical exposure to cloud-native technologies like PCF, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery models focused on collaboration and iteration
- Demonstrated ability to mentor development teams and drive continuous technical improvement
- Flexibility to support hands-on prototype development to solve business challenges
- Excellent communication skills to connect with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, React, and Angular
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate frameworks
- Familiarity with API tooling and large-scale API design best practices
- Understanding of cloud and DevOps architecture, especially on Azure or AWS
- Exposure to database technologies like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases
