We are seeking a Solution Architect (Java) to join our remote team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to design and deliver robust Java-based solutions. You will contribute to innovative projects, supporting the architecture and design of high-performing enterprise-level applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical advancements and provide exceptional solutions tailored to clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Define business requirements and system goals with cross-functional project teams
  • Draft high-level product specifications focused on system integration and feasibility
  • Develop detailed architecture and design artifacts describing how business, information, and technology architectures function in a solution
  • Validate technical requirements for new applications and refine them for existing systems enhancements
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of applications built on Java
  • Analyze current systems to assess efficiency and recommend modifications to better satisfy business needs
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to software development teams
  • Ensure architectural designs align with both organizational goals and business needs
  • Facilitate architectural reviews and assessments during key project milestones
  • Convey system requirements and timelines effectively to management and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience focused on Solution Architecture
  • Background in leading teams of at least 5 employees in Manager/Owner or similar roles for at least 2 years
  • Showcased participation in at least 2 full-cycle projects or involvement across multiple development lifecycle phases
  • Expertise in AWS, including its management and deployment services
  • Understanding of architectural principles and software development methodologies
  • Background in systems design, API design, database frameworks, and programming concepts
  • Familiarity with architecture methodologies alongside software development life cycles
  • Proficiency in Microservices, Event Mesh, and Data pipeline designs
  • Skills in BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and handling Structured and Unstructured Data
  • Knowledge of Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-centric strategies, Observability practices, and Kafka workflows
  • Qualifications in English communication, both spoken and written, at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Certifications in Architecture, such as TOGAF, EACOE, or comparable credentials
  • Background in agile development methodologies
  • Skills in Azure or GCP cloud platforms
