We are seeking a Solution Architect (Java) to join our remote team. This position suits someone who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at designing and implementing robust Java-based solutions. You will work on various projects and contribute to the development of enterprise applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver exceptional solutions to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to outline business requirements and system objectives
  • Develop detailed product specifications focused on system integration and practicality
  • Create architecture and design artifacts to define the integration of business, information, and technology layers
  • Define technical parameters for new applications and enhancements to existing systems
  • Guide teams in the design, development, and deployment of Java solutions
  • Assess existing systems for effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Provide leadership and technical support to development teams
  • Align solution architectures with corporate goals and business needs
  • Conduct evaluations and reviews of architecture during pivotal project stages
  • Communicate system directives and timelines to stakeholders and management
Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT experience specializing in Solution Architecture
  • 2+ years managing teams of 5+ members in roles such as Manager/Owner
  • Experience across multiple development lifecycle phases or participation in a minimum of 2 full-cycle projects
  • Knowledge of AWS management and deployment services
  • Solid understanding of architectural principles and development practices
  • Background in system design, API design, database frameworks, and programming techniques
  • Familiarity with architecture methodologies alongside development life cycle proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microservices, Event Mesh, and Data pipelines
  • Experience with BigQuery and Cloud Storage for structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledge of Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-first approaches, Observability, and Kafka
  • Understanding of English language, both written and spoken, at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Showcase of certifications in Architecture disciplines like TOGAF, EACOE, or related qualifications
  • Background in agile software development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Azure or GCP cloud platforms
