We are seeking a Solution Architect (Java) to join our remote team. This position is tailored for someone who excels in dynamic environments and enjoys designing and implementing cutting-edge Java solutions. You will contribute to a variety of projects, shaping the architecture and design of enterprise-level applications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster innovation and deliver top-tier solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to define business requirements and system goals
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Create detailed architecture and design artifacts addressing how business, information, and technology components will integrate into a solution
  • Define and validate technical requirements for new applications and enhancements to existing ones
  • Guide the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications
  • Evaluate current systems to identify areas for improved efficiency
  • Provide technical leadership and support to software development teams
  • Ensure architectural designs align with business needs and company objectives
  • Conduct architectural assessments and reviews at major project milestones
  • Communicate system requirements and schedules to management and stakeholders
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of IT expertise focusing on Solution Architecture
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership background
  • Participation in at least 2 full cycle projects or multiple projects covering various phases of development
  • Knowledge of AWS, including its management and deployment services
  • Understanding of architectural foundations and modern development methodologies
  • Skills in systems design, API design, database frameworks, and programming concepts
  • Familiarity with architecture methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • Proficiency in Microservices, Event Mesh, and Data pipelines
  • Showcase of experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Structured or Unstructured Data
  • Knowledge of Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-First strategies, Observability, and Kafka
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
Nice to have
  • Qualifications in Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, EACOE, or similar
  • Background in agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud platforms
