Solution Architecture
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect II to act as a subject matter expert.
You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Independently produce complex architecture designs and solutions
- Participate in product solution development and product architecture
- Create solution architecture documentation, work/feature-breakdown structure document and other related artifacts with deep technical details
- Drive end-to-end development cycle
- Communicate with clients to define specific product requirements, documenting design specifications, key entities and elements, data transformations and conversions
- Assess the impact of the decisions and modify the course of action as needed
- Participate in technical pre-sale activity
- Perform technical review of white papers and blueprints
- Conduct technical interviews and provide technical guidance to peers
- Mentor junior level architects and perform assessment of SA candidates
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, E-Commerce, Business Administration, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Economics, Management, or closely related discipline; plus 2 years of employment experience in the job offered (Solution Architect), Enterprise Architect, Quality Architect, Data Solution Architect, Systems Architect, Software Architect, IT Architect, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, IT Lead, Computer Programmer, Data Analyst, Security Systems Engineer, Security Architect, or closely related occupation
- Development experience across various solution types from web applications, web services, desktop applications, to native mobile applications on J2EE or .NET platforms
- Utilizing at least one of the following web applications and development programming languages: Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or Scala to resolve technical issues
- Designing and implementing external service integrations using at least one of the following: REST, SOAP, or ESB
- At least one of the following cloud technologies and migration strategies: AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in building cloud-native solutions
- At least one of the following full lifecycle software development processes: SCRUM or RUP methodologies
