We are currently looking for a remote Solution Architect to become a part of the team.
The customer is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical healthcare companies. Its principal business is medicines, biologics, vaccines, and consumer and animal products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction to maintain AWS cloud infrastructure in optimal configuration from both technical and budgetary perspectives
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of audiences and stakeholders including, but not limited to IT leads, architects, IT peers, and colleagues worldwide
- Manage priorities, and a proactive approach to resolving problems and delivering results and be a strong and motivated team-player
- Work independently while owning and leading projects while communicating updates, outcomes, and objectives
- Present complex architecture design, concepts, processes in a clear and appealing manner
- Design, write API wrappers and leverage API on applications that natively do not expose API as an integration option
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in architecture, technical analysis, application development and/or platform implementation such as data, analytics or reporting platform
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience implementing and deploying solutions using AWS technologies/services, including integration, security controls and compliance requirements
- Experience developing integration architecture patterns for heterogenous systems and/or platforms
- Experience developing EA standards, data architecture standards, EA governance frameworks, and system integration standards is a big plus
- Demonstrated competency with several programming languages
- Experience with Agile, DevOps and CICD
- Industry and/or Academic experience with standard AI and ML techniques and RPA
- Strong process understanding, system architecture skills with analytical thinking for problem solving
- Technical thought leadership and sound understanding of the technology trends and application landscape both internally at the company and externally in the industry
- Demonstrated excellent presentation and communication skills
