Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs using Node.js in a serverless AWS environment
- Analyze legacy applications and define target state architecture for modernization initiatives
- Build front-end applications using Angular while integrating with cloud-native backend services
- Implement solutions using AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS, Kinesis, and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, CTO organization, and API Economy teams
- Take end-to-end ownership of products from ideation through post-production support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of professional development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development and microservices architecture
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and front-end applications
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB
- Experience with Angular for frontend development and basic Java knowledge for database connectivity
- Proven ability to work in agile environments with excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong technical leadership abilities with experience analyzing legacy systems and defining modernization strategies
