We're looking for a Senior UX Researcher/Tester to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland in a hybrid working mode. This is a temporary position running from October 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027. In this role, you will drive research initiatives and usability evaluations that shape digital banking solutions. Your work will deliver insights influencing design choices and ensuring seamless user experiences, contributing to the evolution of client-facing platforms and strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to uncover user behaviors, pain points, and needs
  • Prepare and present research findings and actionable insights to design teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints with interdisciplinary teams to support solution ideation
  • Develop and maintain client journey maps to identify pain points and recommend improvements
  • Define opportunities for experience enhancement using data-driven insights
  • Share best practices and coach team members on UX methodologies
  • Present key research outcomes to senior management
Requirements
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX research, experience design, or innovation management
  • Solid knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods; familiarity with statistical inference is an advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • A growth mindset with a passion for research and continuous learning
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant UX research work (must be included in application)
Nice to have
  • Experience in the financial services sector
  • Hands-on experience with advanced research tools and testing methodologies
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) approaches
