Senior UX Designer for a Manufacturing company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior UX Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • The design of wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity user interfaces for desktop, tablet and mobile
  • The creation of various supportive design assets (e.g., flowcharts, task diagrams, customer journey maps and service blueprints) to visualise the User Journey, drive conversations with the customer and to ensure alignment amongst all parties involved
  • Translating user needs and business objectives into viable, feasible and desirable design solutions
  • Continuous alignment with our business analysts, developers, testers, and Yamaha stakeholders
  • Conducting user research to inform- and validate design decisions
  • Facilitation and participation in various design workshops with both internal- and external stakeholders
  • Advocating design and ensuring user-centricity throughout the project
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in UX Design
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in (digital) design 
  • solid proficiency in both spoken- and written English(B2+)
  • Expert knowledge of design patterns, techniques and methodologies, as well as relevant trends and industry standards
  • Solve complex problems and comes up with new perspectives on existing solutions
  • Experience in Figma
  • Experience working with existing UI Libraries and standardised Design Patterns
  • Curious, creative and emphatic, asks lots of questions and aims to uncover hidden needs and unvoiced business requirements
  • Committed, proactive, and highly communicative team player
  • Can clearly articulate the rationale behind his / her design solutions
