We are looking for a Senior Unreal Engine UI Developer to deliver reliable, scalable player-facing UI for a cross-platform live product. You will build runtime UI flows, integrate with gameplay and online data, and ensure strong performance across input methods.

Responsibilities
  • Implement UI screens, flows, and reusable components in Unreal Engine such as menus, HUD overlays, modal flows, and lists
  • Own end-to-end UI behavior including navigation, focus management, input handling, state transitions, and error handling
  • Integrate UI with asynchronous data sources such as client services, player data, and remote configuration with resilient loading states
  • Build caching and data refresh strategies that keep UI responsive and consistent during network or service delays
  • Partner with UI design and UI art to translate specifications into maintainable, shippable implementations
  • Debug and optimize UI stability and performance across frame time, hitching, memory use, and draw cost
  • Establish and document UI best practices and patterns to improve scalability and development speed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience shipping UI in Unreal Engine using UMG (Widget Blueprints) and Blueprints
  • Strong UI architecture knowledge across separation of concerns, reusable components, and state management
  • Proven cross-platform UI navigation experience with focus-driven patterns and input routing
  • Hands-on performance profiling skills with Unreal Insights and in-engine debugging tools
  • Solid team collaboration skills within code reviews and ticket-based delivery workflows
  • Professional version control proficiency with Perforce preferred or Git
  • English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for daily collaboration with distributed stakeholders
Nice to have
  • C++ for Unreal Engine to extend UI frameworks and implement performance-critical improvements
  • CommonUI or CommonInput experience for standardized navigation and input handling
  • Slate framework familiarity for advanced or custom UI needs
  • Live-service product experience with rapid iteration, hotfix readiness, and telemetry awareness
  • Remote config and feature flag pattern knowledge for controlled UI rollouts
