EPAM Vietnam is looking for a highly motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to develop our quality team. We have an exciting opportunity to work with our high-profile client that requires someone with excellent technical delivery skills and teamwork capabilities. You'll leverage both manual and automated testing techniques throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Deliver test automation and test automation frameworks
- Define test automation approaches, measure effectiveness and perform test automation tool evaluations
- Manually execute test cases across different functionalities, logging all identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered in pre-defined test cases
- Amend test cases and test steps to ensure they are up-to-date based on the application’s current version
- Prepare the necessary test data (if applicable) and maintain a test data bank to ensure sufficient data is available for multiple scenario-based testing
- Participate in usability testing sessions to identify usability issues and suggest improvements
- Prepare detailed test reports with clear documentation of test execution results, defect logs and regression testing coverage
- Client-facing role: participate in phone conferences, customer interviews, workshops and presentations
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Software Testing and/or Test Automation experience, dealing with complex technical issues and tasks
- Advanced in test automation using test automation frameworks in Java and related tools
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Test Automation processes
- Ability to independently establish, follow and enhance test automation process from scratch
- Strong cross-functional thinking and problem-solving skills
- Understanding or exposure to fixed-time delivery processes and execution
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2)
