Senior Test Automation Engineer for a Financial Services Company

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Test Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Java programming, experience in CI/CD and demonstrable understanding of the test life cycle to join our team.
The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community.
Responsibilities
- Automation and manual testing of scrum team deliverables
- Improvement of test coverage of the whole product
- Ownership of regression jobs for the area
- Regression testing of new releases on all environments
- Release support
Requirements
- Experienced quality engineer with a solid background in writing structured automated tests
- Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
- Demonstrable understanding of the test life cycle (planning, analysis, execution, reporting)
- Experienced in or a strong desire to work in a formal agile software development life-cycle
- Familiar with continuous build and integration
- Experience in CI/CD
- 3+ years of experience in Java programming
- Good experience using Selenium WebDriver
- Good experience using REST Assured for API testing
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
- Good understanding of Spring framework
- Good understanding/experience of back-end application development
- English level B1+ or higher
