Senior Systems Architect

Systems Architecture

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Architect to act as a subject matter expert within Solution Architecture.

You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Lead integration of systems and product architecture for small-to-medium-sized solutions
  • Establish and run multi-team testing organization
  • Create systems design and solution architecture documentation, work and feature breakdown structure documents and other related artifacts with technical details
  • Drive end-to-end development cycle
  • Communicate with clients to define specific product requirements, documenting design specifications, key entities and elements, data transformations and conversions
  • Lead technical pre-sale activity
  • Perform technical review of white papers and blueprints
  • Conduct technical interviews and mentor other SA's in practical activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, Radiophysics, IT Management, Informatics, or closely related discipline; plus 5 years of employment experience in the job offered (Senior Systems Architect), Systems Architect, Solution Architect, Data Solution Architect, Software Architect, Technology Architect, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineering Team Leader, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Technology Support Engineer, Software Maintenance Engineer, Software Testing Engineer, Technical Lead, or closely related occupation
  • At least one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Building distributed environments, event-driven architecture patterns, and orchestration platforms by utilizing at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS ECS
  • At least one of the following relational databases: PostgreSQL, AWS SQL DB, or GCP Cloud SQL
  • At least one of the following lightweight/serverless compute services: AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure functions
  • At least one of the programming languages: Java, Scala, or Python
  • At least one of the following platform operations tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD principles
