We are looking for a highly skilled remote Senior Support Engineer to provide application support for our project. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills along with Linux administration and Python scripting skills.
Responsibilities
- Incident management and problem-solving
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of Linux applications
- Maintenance of monitoring/logging systems (Grafana/ELK)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Utilize tools like Jira and ServiceNOW for efficient task management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and experience in Scrum
- Proficient in Linux administration and Python scripting skills
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, CloudFormation)
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible and GitLab
- Experience in monitoring/logging (Grafana/ELK) maintenance
- Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practices
- Familiarity with RedHat/CentOS operating systems
