We are looking for a highly skilled remote Senior Support Engineer to provide application support for our project. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills along with Linux administration and Python scripting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Incident management and problem-solving
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of Linux applications
  • Maintenance of monitoring/logging systems (Grafana/ELK)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Utilize tools like Jira and ServiceNOW for efficient task management
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in application support
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and experience in Scrum
  • Proficient in Linux administration and Python scripting skills
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with Jenkins, Ansible and GitLab
  • Experience in monitoring/logging (Grafana/ELK) maintenance
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practices
  • Familiarity with RedHat/CentOS operating systems
