We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce CPQ who can build, customize, and enhance CPQ solutions that streamline quoting, pricing, and approval workflows, and who will work alongside Admins and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure Salesforce CPQ features such as product bundles, product rules, price rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and approval workflows
- Create and refine bundles, product options, constraints, and discount logic
- Develop and support CPQ automation and integrations using Apex, Flows, SOQL, and platform events as needed
- Fine-tune complex pricing models including slab pricing, subscription pricing, block pricing, and automated discounting
- Improve custom quote templates, proposal documents, and integrations with e-signature tools like DocuSign
- Keep quote templates, proposal documents, and e-signature integrations up to date
- Diagnose and resolve CPQ issues such as performance slowdowns, pricing errors, and data inconsistencies
- Align CPQ configurations with Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and version control protocols
- Assist with releases, deployments, and UAT cycles alongside Admins and DevOps teams
- Produce thorough technical documentation and drive ongoing process improvements
Requirements
- 6-9 years of software development experience
- 3–5 years working as a Salesforce developer
- 2+ years of direct experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steel Brick)
- Strong command of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Flow Builder
- Solid grasp of the CPQ data model, product rules (configuration, validation, selection), price rules, lookup tables, and the quoting lifecycle
- Ability to optimize CPQ performance for large bundles or intricate pricing logic
- Working knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD tools
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have
- QCP Experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification
- Experience with Salesforce Billing or subscription-based pricing models
- Skill in connecting CPQ to external systems (such as billing, ERP, or pricing engines) through APIs or middleware like Boomi or MuleSoft
- Prior work in SaaS, manufacturing, or B2B enterprise settings
