We are building a team and need a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to develop and integrate in-house and SaaS solutions used by business teams every day. You will drive delivery from initial analysis to AWS deployment and production support, improving systems with automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Develop secure, performant, cost-aware Python services and integrations
  • Turn business goals into technical approaches, estimates, and delivery plans
  • Document technical specifications and support junior engineers and external developers
  • Ship features end to end, including deployment and ongoing production support
  • Work with stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and technical feasibility
  • Optimize reliability and maintainability through testing, monitoring, and automation
  • Maintain technical documentation to support development and operations
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and trade-offs to the project team
Requirements
  • Demonstrated Python proficiency shipping production-ready services
  • Working AWS knowledge with experience designing or operating cloud infrastructure
  • Reliable SQL proficiency and hands-on work with relational databases
  • Background in financial services or experience delivering confidence-building systems in regulated environments
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills to convert unclear goals into deliverables
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across business and engineering
  • Clear ownership mindset with strong prioritization and follow-through
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Nice to have
  • Experience with AWS Glue, Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow, or Control-M
  • Understanding of serverless or microservices architectures and REST APIs
  • Hands-on exposure to Kafka or Amazon Kinesis
