We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to build and connect in-house and SaaS solutions used by business teams at scale. You will take features from early analysis through release, operating secure, cost-aware services on AWS and supporting them in production.

Responsibilities
  • Design secure, high-performing, cost-aware Python services and integrations
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, estimates, and delivery plans
  • Define technical specifications and mentor junior engineers and external developers
  • Deliver features end to end from implementation through deployment and production support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align scope, priorities, and technical feasibility
  • Improve reliability and maintainability through testing, monitoring, and automation
  • Create clear technical documentation that supports development and operations
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to the project team
Requirements
  • Proven Python proficiency delivering production-grade services
  • Hands-on AWS knowledge designing or running cloud infrastructure
  • Strong SQL proficiency working with relational databases
  • Financial services exposure or experience building confidence-building systems in regulated environments
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset to turn ambiguity into clear deliverables
  • Stakeholder management experience partnering with business users and engineers
  • Ownership mentality with strong prioritization skills and consistent follow-through
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
  • Experience with AWS Glue or Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow or Control-M
  • Background in serverless architecture or microservices plus REST APIs
  • Familiarity with messaging or streaming using Kafka or Amazon Kinesis
