As a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform Services team at Commify, you will contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of cloud-scalable web applications and business service products. You will be responsible for investigating, designing, planning, and estimating potential projects and features, building and maintaining software across the full suite of products and services relating to the "Communications Platform as a Service" (CPaaS), and providing technical support to colleagues. You will work closely with product managers to refine requirements into deliverable user stories and tasks, contribute to agile ceremonies, and align the engineering team to deliver product features that meet customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Investigating, designing, planning, and estimating potential projects and features for the "Communications Platform as a Service" (CPaaS)
- Building and maintaining software across the full suite of products and services
- Providing technical support to colleagues, contributing to agile ceremonies, and refining requirements into deliverable user stories and tasks
- Aligning the engineering team to deliver product features that meet customer outcomes and continuously learning, testing, and improving the quality and value of features
- Assisting Technical Lead and Engineering Manager in peer/coding reviews and driving a positive experience through the development team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience delivering high-quality software in one or more modern languages
- Solid understanding of scalable cloud solutions using development frameworks and languages in C# .NET/.NET Core and Angular
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, building micro-SPA front-end applications, and version control exposure to GitHub
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, Microsoft Azure services, and defining best practices to ensure the codebase meets industry best standards
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and team-working skills with high attention to detail

- Experience mentoring team members in professional and personal development
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), Infrastructure as Code scripting using Terraform, and working with international teams
- Experience using Vue JavaScript Web Framework and Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
