We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to become a valuable addition to our remote team.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and sustaining ServiceNow applications. Working in synergy with diverse teams, the Senior ServiceNow Developer will contribute to the creation of applications aligned with business needs. Alongside development tasks, this role involves crafting comprehensive technical documentation, offering mentorship to junior developers, and ensuring the optimization of applications for peak performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Craft and uphold ServiceNow applications to align with business prerequisites
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams for the design and development of innovative applications and integrations
- Generate detailed technical documentation for all applications
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers
- Assure optimization of all applications for enhanced performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Resolve issues linked to ServiceNow applications and integrations through effective troubleshooting
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and emerging features
- Communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and furnish project progress updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or an equivalent role
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Experience in constructing integrations with ServiceNow
- Competence with ServiceNow scripts
- Demonstrated expertise in optimizing ServiceNow applications for top-tier performance and scalability
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative teamwork aptitude
- Keen attention to detail and adeptness in managing concurrent projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of a ServiceNow Developer certification
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
