Be a vital member of our remote team by stepping into the Senior ServiceNow Developer role, where your leadership will be pivotal in seamlessly connecting enterprise systems with Cloud operations.
We are on the lookout for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a well-documented history of crafting and maintaining ServiceNow forms, combined with adept handling of REST API/SOAP integrations. Your role involves advancing the integration of ServiceNow into Cloud operations and presents an opportunity to actively contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features within our dynamic Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating the creation of new ServiceNow forms, guiding the process from concept to deployment
- Continuously supporting and developing existing ServiceNow forms, addressing troubleshooting and remediation
- Engaging closely in ongoing integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless support and ownership of stories and/or tasks
- Assisting the Cloud Engineering team(s) in testing both new and existing ServiceNow components
- Collaborating closely with development peers, product leadership, and technical staff to devise innovative and impactful solutions
- Playing a significant role in feature design, development, and optimization within a vibrant Agile development environment
- Ensuring consistently high-quality standards at every stage of development
- Providing technical insights for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architects
- Guiding and mentoring less experienced team members to enhance their skills and foster career growth
- Participating actively in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Thorough familiarity with REST API/SOAP integration, covering both development and troubleshooting perspectives
- Proficiency in VCS (GitLab/GitHub) for effective version control
- Experience in scripting within ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
- Expertise in JavaScript coding, emphasizing code reuse and adherence to coding best practices
- A profound understanding of ServiceNow best practices, latest features, and hands-on Implementation and Design experience
- Comfortable operating within an Agile methodology, with experience in unit testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- B2+ English proficiency level
