In this role, you'll craft and maintain cutting-edge ServiceNow applications, collaborating seamlessly with diverse teams to forge applications aligned with dynamic business needs. As the Senior ServiceNow Developer, your responsibilities extend to generating comprehensive technical documentation, guiding budding developers, and ensuring that applications are finely tuned for optimal performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Craft and sustain ServiceNow applications in alignment with business needs
- Engage in fruitful collaborations with cross-functional teams, contributing to the design and development of innovative applications and seamless integrations
- Generate meticulous technical documentation for all applications
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Assure that all applications are finely tuned for optimal performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Diagnose and resolve issues pertaining to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow best practices and features
- Liaise with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering project progress updates
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or a comparable role
- Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Proven experience in constructing integrations with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripts
- Demonstrated expertise in optimizing ServiceNow applications for peak performance and scalability
- Showcase robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exhibit keen attention to detail, adeptly managing multiple projects concurrently
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Background in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of a ServiceNow Developer certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or alternative cloud platforms
