Join our remote team as a crucial team member in the Senior ServiceNow Developer role, taking the lead in seamlessly connecting enterprise systems with Cloud operations.
We are in search of an adept ServiceNow Developer with a well-documented track record in designing and maintaining ServiceNow forms, coupled with a skilled handling of REST API/SOAP integrations. Your responsibilities include advancing the integration of ServiceNow into Cloud operations, and providing an opportunity to actively contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features within our vibrant Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Initiating the creation of new ServiceNow forms from concept to deployment
- Providing ongoing support and development for existing ServiceNow forms, addressing troubleshooting and remediation
- Close collaboration on current integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless support and ownership of stories and/or tasks
- Supporting the Cloud Engineering team(s) in testing both new and existing ServiceNow components
- Collaborating closely with development peers, product leadership, and technical staff to devise innovative and impactful solutions
- Significantly contributing to feature design, development, and optimization within a dynamic Agile development environment
- Maintaining consistently high-quality standards at every stage of development
- Offering technical insights for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Guiding and mentoring less experienced team members to enhance their skills and foster career growth
- Actively participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Thorough familiarity with REST API/SOAP integration, covering both development and troubleshooting perspectives
- Proficiency in VCS (GitLab/GitHub) for effective version control
- Experience in scripting within ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
- Expertise in JavaScript coding, emphasizing code reuse and adherence to coding best practices
- A deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, latest features, and hands-on Implementation and Design experience
- Comfortable operating within an Agile methodology, coupled with experience in unit testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- B2+ English level
