Become a key member of our remote team by stepping into the role of a Senior ServiceNow Developer, leading the charge in integrating enterprise systems with Cloud operations.
We're on the lookout for a seasoned ServiceNow Developer, adept at crafting and maintaining ServiceNow forms while seamlessly integrating REST API/SOAP solutions. Your responsibilities will involve elevating ServiceNow's integration with Cloud operations, presenting an exciting opportunity to shape, develop, and optimize features within an agile and dynamic development environment.
Responsibilities
- Crafting ServiceNow forms from conceptualization to deployment
- Providing support and evolving existing ServiceNow forms, including troubleshooting and remediation
- Close collaboration on existing integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless support and ownership of stories and tasks
- Assisting the Cloud Engineering team(s) in testing both new and existing ServiceNow components
- Working closely with development peers, product leadership, and technical staff to devise innovative solutions
- Significant contribution to the design, development, and optimization of features within an agile development framework
- Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle
- Offering technical insights for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architects
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, fostering skill enhancement and career growth
- Active participation in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Familiarity with REST API/SOAP integration, covering both development and troubleshooting perspectives
- Proficiency in version control systems (VCS) such as GitLab/GitHub
- Experience in scripting within ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
- Expertise in JavaScript coding, emphasizing code reuse and adhering to best practices in coding standards
- Thorough knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, latest features, and Implementation and Design experience
- Comfortable operating within an Agile methodology, with experience in unit testing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relational database concepts
