Senior ServiceNow Developer
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team and help us deliver high-quality products to our users. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will work closely with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users. You will develop applications that are simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs. You will contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users
- Develop applications that are simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by customers and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow
- Experience with the ServiceNow UI/UX framework (Service Portal)
- Experience with the ServiceNow Testing Framework (ATF) for automation
- Experience with object-oriented design and performance/scale considerations
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other software development frameworks and languages
- Experience with ITIL processes
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with database design and SQL
