Become a vital team player within our remote workforce, holding a pivotal role as a Senior ServiceNow Developer. Take charge of seamlessly linking enterprise systems with Cloud operations in this dynamic position.
We're seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a proven track record in crafting and maintaining ServiceNow forms, coupled with expertise in handling REST API/SOAP integrations. Your role involves advancing the integration of ServiceNow into Cloud operations, offering an opportunity to actively contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features in our lively Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Initiate the creation of new ServiceNow forms from concept to deployment
- Provide ongoing support and development for existing ServiceNow forms, addressing troubleshooting and remediation
- Collaborate closely on current integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless support and ownership of stories and/or tasks
- Support Cloud Engineering team(s) in testing both new and existing ServiceNow components
- Collaborate closely with development peers, product leadership, and technical staff to devise innovative and impactful solutions
- Make significant contributions to feature design, development, and optimization within a dynamic Agile development environment
- Maintain consistently high-quality standards at every stage of development
- Provide technical insights for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members to enhance their skills and foster career growth
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Thorough familiarity with REST API/SOAP integration, covering both development and troubleshooting perspectives
- Proficiency in VCS (GitLab/GitHub) for effective version control
- Experience in scripting within ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
- Expertise in JavaScript coding, emphasizing code reuse and adherence to coding best practices
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow best practices, latest features, and hands-on Implementation and Design experience
- Comfortable operating within an Agile methodology, coupled with experience in unit testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- B2+ English proficiency level
