We're on the lookout for an accomplished Senior ServiceNow Developer to become a key player in our remote team.
The selected candidate will take charge of crafting and sustaining ServiceNow applications, fostering teamwork across diverse departments to build applications aligned with business needs. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will also craft comprehensive technical documentation, offer mentorship to junior developers, and ensure that every application is fine-tuned for peak performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Craft and uphold ServiceNow applications to fulfill business requisites
- Cooperate with multifaceted teams to contrive and construct novel applications and integrations
- Formulate technical documentation for each application
- Render guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Verify optimization of all applications for performance and scalability
- Engage in code reviews to assure adherence to quality standards
- Identify and resolve issues linked to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and emerging features
- Interact with stakeholders to amass requirements and furnish project progress updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or a comparable role
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Proven track record in building integrations with ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripts
- Adeptness in optimizing ServiceNow applications for peak performance and scalability
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams
- Keen attention to detail and adept management of multiple projects concurrently
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of a ServiceNow Developer certification
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Background in working with AWS or alternative cloud platforms
