Senior ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team and work on building ServiceNow solutions for a multinational company undergoing a carve-out process. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for setting up and migrating data from the existing instance to the new ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities
  • Setup the ServiceNow instance according to the design, ensuring that it meets the needs of the company
  • Migrate existing Knowledge Management or any other data discovered and agreed upon during the Assessment phase to the new ServiceNow platform
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that the ServiceNow solution meets all specified requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, optimizing the performance of the system
  • Debug complex problems and provide scalable and performant solutions to enhance the overall functionality
  • Ensure that all systems comply with the customer's infrastructure and security standards, adhering to best practices
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the ServiceNow solution, contributing to an optimized software delivery pipeline
  • Utilize APIs and Integration tools, enabling seamless integration with other systems
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Expertise in APIs and Integration, enabling seamless integration with other systems
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, facilitating the development of efficient and maintainable code
  • Experience in working on large-scale projects, with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex technical challenges and provide optimal solutions
  • Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience in working with IT Infrastructure systems, providing valuable domain-specific knowledge and insights
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies, enabling efficient project management
  • Experience working with multinational companies, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
