We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create applications that meet business requirements. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will also be responsible for creating technical documentation, providing guidance to junior developers, and ensuring that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications in support of business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new applications and integrations
- Create technical documentation for all applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Ensure that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that all code meets quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and new features
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development or a similar role
- Expertise in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Experience in building integrations with ServiceNow
- Experience with ServiceNow scripts
- Experience in optimizing ServiceNow applications for performance and scalability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- ServiceNow Developer certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
