We are in search of an accomplished Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic remote team.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining ServiceNow applications, collaborating seamlessly with diverse teams to forge applications aligning with business needs. Additionally, the Senior ServiceNow Developer will craft comprehensive technical documentation, offer guidance to junior developers, and ensure the optimization of all applications for enhanced performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and upkeep of ServiceNow applications to meet business prerequisites
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams for the creation of innovative applications and integrations
- Generate detailed technical documentation for all applications
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers
- Guarantee optimal performance and scalability of all applications
- Actively partake in code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Tackle and resolve issues linked to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay abreast of ServiceNow best practices and emerging features
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements and furnish project progress updates
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or a related role
- Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Exhibit expertise in constructing integrations with ServiceNow
- Showcase familiarity with ServiceNow scripts
- Proven experience in optimizing ServiceNow applications for peak performance and scalability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative aptitude with cross-functional teams
- Meticulous attention to detail, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of ServiceNow Developer certification
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
