We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic remote team.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and sustaining ServiceNow applications, collaborating seamlessly with multifaceted teams to conceive applications aligning with business needs. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will also assume the responsibility of generating technical documentation, guiding junior developers, and ensuring the optimization of all applications for peak performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Craft and upkeep ServiceNow applications to meet business prerequisites
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams for the design and development of innovative applications and seamless integrations
- Compose comprehensive technical documentation for all applications
- Offer mentorship and guidance to junior developers
- Verify the optimization of all applications for superior performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Identify and resolve issues pertaining to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow best practices and features
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, gathering requirements and furnishing project progress updates
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or an equivalent role
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Track record of building integrations with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripts
- Demonstrated experience in fine-tuning ServiceNow applications for optimum performance and scalability
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
- Keen attention to detail and adept at managing multiple projects concurrently
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Background in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of a ServiceNow Developer certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or alternative cloud platforms
