We're in search of a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to become a valuable addition to our remote team.
The chosen candidate will take charge of crafting and sustaining ServiceNow applications, engaging in seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to forge applications aligned with business needs. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will also craft technical documentation, extend guidance to junior developers, and guarantee the optimization of all applications for top-notch performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and upkeep of ServiceNow applications to fulfill business requisites
- Engage in synergy with cross-functional teams to conceive and execute novel applications and integrations
- Draft comprehensive technical documentation for all applications
- Offer guidance and mentorship to budding developers
- Assure the optimization of all applications for peak performance and scalability
- Actively participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow best practices and features
- Foster communication with stakeholders for requirements gathering and project progress updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or an analogous role
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Proven track record in constructing integrations with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripts
- Expertise in fine-tuning ServiceNow applications for optimal performance and scalability
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Aptitude for collaborative work with cross-functional teams
- Meticulous attention to detail and adeptness at managing concurrent projects
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Possession of a ServiceNow Developer certification
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
