We are in search of a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to become an integral part of our remote team.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and sustaining ServiceNow applications, engaging in close collaboration with multifaceted teams to construct applications aligned with business needs. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will also spearhead the formulation of technical documentation, provide mentorship to junior developers, and uphold the optimization of all applications for heightened performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Craft and uphold ServiceNow applications to meet evolving business requirements
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop innovative applications and seamless integrations
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation for all applications
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a supportive learning environment
- Ensure optimal performance and scalability of all applications
- Participate in thorough code reviews to guarantee adherence to quality standards
- Diagnose and resolve issues linked to ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Stay abreast of ServiceNow best practices and emerging features
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, gathering requirements and delivering regular project updates
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or a comparable role
- Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS markup, and REST APIs
- Proven track record of constructing integrations with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripts
- Experience in fine-tuning ServiceNow applications for optimal performance and scalability
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving prowess
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and adept at managing concurrent projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Prior experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- ServiceNow Developer certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
