We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will lead a team of developers and collaborate with Business Analysts and QA testers to ensure a seamless migration to the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing APIs and integrations, enabling efficient and effective IT Service Management (ITSM). As a senior member of the team, you will play an important role in guiding and mentoring less experienced developers while ensuring that the team follows Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of ServiceNow Developers in the migration of support.epam.com from Microfocus Service Manager to ServiceNow
  • Develop and implement APIs and integrations in accordance with ITSM best practices
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA testers to ensure a seamless migration to the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure that all development work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues, taking part in programs to foster growth and learning within the team
  • Play an active role in the Agile (SCRUM) team, understanding one's role and effectively following established development processes
  • Understand business domain and implement business logic, driving efficient software solutions that address identified needs
  • Collaborate with other ServiceNow Developers on technical designs
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of the software
  • Adhere to software engineering best practices and principles, effectively explaining their benefits
  • Participate in Code Reviews as a reviewer, ensuring code quality and conformity with best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work without supervision/control after onboarding stage, managing own time effectively
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong foundation in developing APIs and integrations
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), with a deep understanding of its benefits and drawbacks
  • Expertise in JavaScript, with a deep understanding of web services and related technologies
  • Experience in leading teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Experience with migration projects, with a deep understanding of the migration process and its complexities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex technical challenges and provide optimal solutions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Microfocus Service Manager (MFSM) platform, enabling efficient migration to ServiceNow
  • Experience with other scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python
