We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team, working on ITSM processes implementation and custom application development using the ServiceNow platform for our customer. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the ServiceNow platform, implementing ITSM processes, and developing custom applications based on the platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide innovative solutions. Responsibilities
- Support the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its reliability and availability
- Implement ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management, based on business requirements
- Develop custom applications based on the ServiceNow platform, utilizing your programming skills and understanding of development frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and QA Engineers, to understand business needs and provide innovative solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, contributing to their growth and development
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow platform features and capabilities, enabling you to leverage the latest technologies for our projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, demonstrating your proficiency in developing custom applications and implementing ITSM processes
- Strong understanding of development processes and frameworks, showcasing your ability to develop high-quality software solutions
- Practical experience working with platforms, ideally ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, Micro Focus, and Atlassian
- Programming experience in languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS
- Ability to perform work effectively and in due time, highlighting your time management and prioritization skills
- Proactive position, showcasing your ability to ask questions, propose solutions, and take ownership of your work
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile methodologies, showcasing your ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Scripting language experience, including Python and PowerShell
