We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with business goals. This position requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow, a strong understanding of ITSM, and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business needs
- Configure and customize modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM in line with organizational objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements and align solutions with business strategies
- Perform code reviews, ensure best practices, and maintain high code quality standards in the platform
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve platform issues while ensuring minimal downtime for users
- Establish and enforce governance processes for the ServiceNow platform, including security policies and access controls
- Build, maintain, and improve integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems or APIs
- Optimize performance and scalability of the platform to support organizational growth
- Ensure all solutions comply with ServiceNow development standards and industry best practices
- Document technical specifications, runbooks, and process flows for ongoing operational support
- Mentor junior developers and other team members to elevate technical capabilities across the organization
Requirements
- Residence in Ukraine (remote work eligible only for candidates based in Ukraine)
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, and maintenance
- Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), workflows, UI/UX customization, and module configurations
- Background in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD including deep knowledge of related processes
- Familiarity with API integrations, REST, SOAP technologies, or similar tools for seamless platform connectivity
- Proficiency in the ServiceNow development lifecycle, SDLC methodologies, and ITIL concepts and applications
- Competency in platform security, including user roles, access controls, and instance data protection
- Understanding of system architecture and optimization for ensuring scalability and performance
- Experience with version control systems or CI/CD tools such as Git or Jenkins to manage development cycles
