We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our remote team. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for assessing requirements, proposing solutions based on the ServiceNow platform and software engineering best practices, raising clarification questions related to specific functionality, requirements implementation, initial validation, bug fixing, code promotion between environments, and providing relevant instructions and recommendations to the operations team. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and fosters a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess requirements and propose solutions based on the ServiceNow platform and software engineering best practices
- Raise clarification questions related to specific functionality and requirements implementation
- Lead the development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring that they meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget
- Perform initial validation and bug fixing, ensuring high-quality software delivery
- Promote code between environments, managing the software delivery pipeline
- Provide relevant instructions and recommendations to the operations team, ensuring that they can effectively maintain and support the ServiceNow solutions
- Collaborate with the Customer, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, UI developers, and DevOps team on technical designs
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, ensuring that they meet business needs and are scalable and maintainable
- Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues, taking part in programs to foster growth and learning within the team
- Play an active role in the Agile (SCRUM) team, understanding one's role and effectively following established development processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong foundation in ServiceNow APIs and Integration
- Experience in HTML and JavaScript, with the ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Demonstrated experience leading and implementing at least two full-cycle design and architecture projects from scratch or participated in multiple projects spanning different stages of the development lifecycle
- Experience in requirements gathering and analysis, with the ability to propose effective solutions that meet business needs
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including Service Portal and Service Catalog
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules, with the ability to design and implement solutions that meet business needs
- Experience in ServiceNow custom app development, with the ability to develop and maintain custom applications that meet business needs
- Proficiency in software development processes, such as Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders

- Familiarity with other modern programming languages or frameworks, broadening the technical knowledge within the team
- Experience in software security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of customer data and systems
