We are seeking a Senior Security Platform Engineer to design, build, and run scalable security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and software delivery environments. You will partner with engineering and security teams to automate controls, improve reliability, and reduce risk.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security controls to prevent, detect, and respond to threats across cloud and infrastructure environments
  • Own security platforms end-to-end to ensure reliability, scalability, and measurable security outcomes
  • Operate and monitor controls through effective alerting, dashboards, and incident response workflows
  • Automate and optimize security workflows to reduce friction for engineering teams
  • Build security tooling and automation to mitigate risk using Python and engineering best practices
  • Harden cloud environments across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strengthen secure software delivery by integrating security into CI/CD, secrets handling, and dependency controls
  • Implement and improve Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code guardrails to enforce standards
  • Integrate CNAPP and Cloud Security Posture Management capabilities to identify and reduce cloud risk
  • Partner with Security Operations and engineering teams to coordinate remediation and improve security posture
  • Coordinate with technology vendors to enhance platform capabilities and operational effectiveness
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in security engineering, platform engineering, or related roles
  • Proven ability to own security platforms end-to-end and drive measurable reliability improvements
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills across engineering and security operations teams
  • Hands-on cloud experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code knowledge for automating security requirements
  • Proficient CI/CD security knowledge including supply chain controls and pipeline governance
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Solid networking fundamentals and secure systems design knowledge
  • Strong Windows and Linux administration experience in security-focused contexts
  • Operational incident response skills including monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement practices
  • Comfort with AI-enabled engineering tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and automation
  • English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with Wiz CSPM
  • Experience with Ansible for security automation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring
  • Experience with Kubernetes security and cloud-native controls
  • Experience with Open Policy Agent for policy enforcement
