We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Security Engineer with a wealth of experience to join our remote team.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in formulating and applying top-tier security practices within both architecture and code. Working in tandem with diverse teams, you'll pinpoint and address potential security vulnerabilities spanning areas like authentication, authorization, network segmentation, encryption, container configuration, bastion host setup, and more. This position presents a distinctive chance to shape and propel security initiatives within a vibrant and competitive industry.

Responsibilities
  • Craft and implement security best practices in architecture and code
  • Uncover and address potential security vulnerabilities concerning authentication, authorization, network segmentation, encryption, container configuration, bastion host setup, and beyond
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to steer security initiatives
  • Devise and execute effective approaches for threat modeling to unveil vulnerabilities
  • Take charge of engineering remedies for externally identified threats and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent security regulations and standards
  • Generate and update security documentation, encompassing technical specifications and test scenarios
  • Regularly assess and refine security metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement
  • Keep abreast of evolving security trends, threats, and technologies to uphold a competitive edge
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security-related matters
Requirements
  • Accumulate 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or analogous roles
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in conceptualizing and implementing security best practices in architecture and code
  • Lead engineering responses to externally identified threats and vulnerabilities
  • Possess experience collaborating with teams to identify and address potential security gaps in authentication, authorization, network segmentation, encryption, container configuration, bastion host setup, and more
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, covering AWS cloud services, IP networks, applications, databases, and operating systems
  • Hands-on familiarity with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, and container security
  • Extensive background in embedded software development, security protocols, applied cryptography, and adherence to security standards
  • Proficient knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack and major protocols
  • Working proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming/script languages, such as Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell
  • Possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective global collaboration
Nice to have
  • Prior experience with Metasploit and QRadar
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols and applications
  • Familiarity with secure SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with security tools and platforms like Nessus, Burp Suite, and Nmap
