We are seeking an experienced Senior Scala Engineer specializing in Kotlin to join our team in advancing the development of a next-generation Content Platform.

The platform aims to transform how we handle content ingestion, enrichment, personalization, and asset automation, ensuring scalability and innovation across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to design and implement scalable components of the content platform
  • Build a unified content ingestion and publishing pipeline that integrates diverse content types like Boards, Profile Updates, and User-Generated Content
  • Enforce automated metadata tagging through content type classification, emergent categories, and embedding generation
  • Develop feedback loops for real-time content validation to enhance the publishing process
  • Enhance content discoverability and analytics by creating performance dashboards enriched with metadata insights
  • Ensure low-latency, high-performance operations within a distributed, cloud-based environment
Requirements
  • 3+years of experience in developing with Scala 3 and Kotlin
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and scalable content management platforms
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions using AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with content personalization techniques, automation workflows, metadata tagging, and embedding generation
  • Strong background in API development, stream processing, and working with microservices architectures
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Contentful
Nice to have
  • Background in machine learning or AI-driven content recommendation systems
  • Exposure to GraphQL, gRPC, or comparable interface technologies
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and DevOps tools
