We are looking for an experienced remote Senior Scala Developer proficient in SQL and AWS to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Software Engineering with expertise in Scala, AWS, and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-performance, scalable solutions utilizing Data Lake and stream processing engines like Kafka and Spark
- Developing and implementing solutions utilizing advanced SQL coding skills
- Building event-driven scalable and resilient systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Ensuring compliance with information security policies and standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering with expertise in Scala, AWS, and Databricks
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- Proficient with software development lifecycle methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
- Strong experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, Databricks
- Advanced SQL coding skills with expertise in Relational Database Design and Data Warehousing
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services
- B2+ English level
