We are looking for a Senior SAP UI5 Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and developing enterprise-grade SAP Fiori applications. In this role, you will contribute to building intuitive, high-performing user interfaces that meet SAP product standards while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript/ES6+, XML, JSON, HTML5, and CSS3
- Configure and extend SAP Fiori Elements apps and Smart Controls
- Build compliance/tenant dashboards from scratch to deliver real-time data visualization up to SAP product standards
- Create reusable components, libraries, and UI patterns aligned with best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAPUI5/OpenUI5 development
- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript/ES6+ and XML views
- Expertise in MVC patterns and building reusable front-end components
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups/spaces, and app configuration
- Solid understanding of OData (v2/v4) and RESTful service integration
- Background in working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC backend processes
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP Luigi or other microfrontend frameworks
- Familiarity with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) using Node.js or Java
- Full-stack development skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express, along with databases and CAP
- Knowledge of SAP BTP components such as Cloud Foundry, BAS, and XSUAA (security), as well as Destinations, Connectivity, Workflow, and Process Automation
- Understanding of Fiori Elements with annotation-based development
- Skills in microservices, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD automation
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
