We are looking for a Senior SAP UI5 Developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications that optimize business processes in areas like supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering.
This role requires deep expertise in SAP UI5 and Fiori, focusing on effective collaboration with backend teams to build intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Create user interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori to deliver seamless and engaging experiences
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate applications with OData services and RESTful APIs
- Design reusable UI components while adhering to SAP Fiori design principles
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and offer customized UI solutions
- Improve application performance and resolve complex technical challenges to enhance scalability
- Ensure all development aligns with coding best practices and organizational standards
- Contribute to Agile workflows such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Document technical designs and processes to ensure knowledge sharing across the organization
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori application development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Expertise in OData services, JSON, and RESTful APIs for backend integration
- Familiarity with SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio for development
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP Core Data Services (CDS)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Background in SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
