We're looking for an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with an e-Invoicing focus to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus, working in a hybrid model. The role involves leading and supporting SAP e-invoicing processes in S/4HANA, integrating SAP with government and third-party platforms and ensuring compliance with multiple country regulations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, integration teams and tax experts to design and deliver secure e-invoicing solutions while maintaining performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support e-invoicing processes within SAP S/4HANA environments
- Gather requirements and define functional specifications for e-invoicing operations
- Configure billing, tax determination and electronic document processes
- Manage integrations with government platforms and external providers
- Define mappings, interfaces and perform validation and end-to-end testing
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with SAP, tax and middleware teams
- Ensure compliance with local e-invoicing and tax regulations across multiple countries
- Support documentation, user training and cut-over activities during deployments
Requirements
- Solid experience with SAP e-invoicing processes and integration methods
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD and working understanding of FI for tax and billing alignment
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and e-invoicing platforms
- Familiarity with integration technologies including APIs, XML/JSON, IDocs and middleware tools
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI or similar frameworks is an advantage
- Good understanding of VAT rules, tax reporting and digital compliance standards
- Ability to debug custom developments for issue resolution
- Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder communication
- Fluent in English (B2+); additional languages are an asset
- Availability for regular trips to Stuttgart, Germany
