We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior SAP MDG Functional/Technical Consultant with 3+ years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects, utilizing MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively, and perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects
- Utilize MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively
- Perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes
- Handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Enrich master data via workflows and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system
- Engage effectively in client-facing roles and handle escalations proficiently
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools
- Experience in SAP SD/MM/FI processes and hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Solid understanding of SAP IDOC, XML, and Data Flow Diagrams
- Ability to engage effectively in client-facing roles and handle escalations proficiently
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile ways of working in a DevOps model
- Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP MM/SD
