We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced remote Senior SAP MDG Functional/Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools. The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes and have hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems. As a Senior SAP MDG Functional/Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in configuring and customizing MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects, utilizing MDG application frameworks and various governance APIs effectively. You will also work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes and handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC systems.
- Configure and customize MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects
- Utilize MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively
- Perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes
- Handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Enrich master data via workflows and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system
- Engage effectively in client-facing roles and handle escalations proficiently
- Collaborate with a team, proactive approach, and ability to work under pressure
- Follow agile ways of working in a DevOps model
- 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools
- Solid knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes
- Hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems
- Experience in configuring and customizing MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects
- Proficiency in utilizing MDG application frameworks and various governance APIs effectively
- Experience in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Strong command of SAP IDOC, XML, and Data Flow Diagrams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively in client-facing roles and handle escalations proficiently
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work under pressure
- Fluent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level
- Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP MM/SD
