We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP MDG Functional / Technical Consultant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools. The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes and have hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects
- Utilize MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively
- Perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Enrich master data via workflows and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage effectively in client-facing roles
- Handle escalations proficiently
- Understand agile ways of working in a DevOps model
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes and hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems
- Proficiency in SAP MDM/MDG and SAP ERP – MM/SD module
- Expertise in SAP IDOC, XML, and Data Flow Diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP MM/SD
- Experience in SAP SD Technical, SAP MM Technical, and SAP FI Technical
