We are in search of a Senior SAP MDG Consultant with expertise in SAP MDM functionality, SAP S4 MDG solutions, and MDG data modeling.
In this position, you will configure and optimize SAP MDG, communicate with global clients, and develop requirements for the engineering team.
You will also focus on tailoring specific MDG domains and guarantee successful deployment for masters like Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Initiate the setup of SAP MDG modules while ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices
- Maintain regular contact with clients to comprehend their requirements, provide updates, and propose solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to collect and document detailed requirements, converting them into technical specifications for the engineering team
- Tailor and enhance specific MDG domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance
Requirements
- Expertise in deploying SAP MDM functionality and SAP S4 MDG solutions for Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance masters
- Understanding of SAP MDM and SAP MDG standard processes with the capability to guide users on standard features
- Proficiency in working with SAP MDG EhP6 & MDG 7.0/8.0 (preferably SAP MDG on S/4 HANA)
- Skills in Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+)
- Knowledge of derivation and validation methodologies in MDG S/4HANA
- Competency in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Processing Modeling, and configuring rule-based workflows
- Showcase of at least one full implementation in SAP MDG as a functional consultant
- Background in data migration
- Experience with implementing CFIN projects
- Familiarity with MDG Roles & Authorizations
Nice to have
- Understanding of MDG Utopia (Fashion and Retail)
- Familiarity with SAP P2P, Logistics or Retail
