We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior SAP Logistics Specialist to join our team and lead data migration activities for our client's SAP Logistics (SCM) project. As the Senior SAP Logistics Specialist, you will provide technical support and guidance to the team on the SAP Material Management (MM) module, SAP Sales and Distribution, and SAP Retail Master Data. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data to identify gaps or inconsistencies during the data migration process, developing migration plans and schedules, and managing relationships with stakeholders including other consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead data transfer operations to guarantee the successful completion of the project
- Furnish the team with technical assistance and counsel regarding SAP Material Management (MM) module and SAP Sales and Distribution
- Inspect and scrutinize data to pinpoint any gaps or irregularities encountered throughout the data migration procedure
- Craft migration strategies and timetables for the prompt attainment of project milestones
- Supervise connections with stakeholders, encompassing fellow consultants, developers, and project managers, to secure coherence with project goals and schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Logistics (SCM), specifically in SAP Material Management (MM) module, SAP Sales and Distribution, and SAP Retail Master Data
- Extensive experience in data migration activities, including data analysis, data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation
- Proven track record of successfully leading data migration projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of SAP Logistics integration with other SAP modules such as Finance and Controlling (FICO), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM)
- Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases for data migration activities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with other SAP modules such as Finance and Controlling (FICO), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM)
- Certification in SAP Logistics (SCM) or related fields
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA
